1.25" TS Optics Colour Filter - Light Red

For very high contrast on the Moon - suitable for small aperture telescopes. This filter is used when observing the polar ice caps on Mars (100mm aperture and larger). Well suited for Venus by blocking the blue daylight. The sky appears black.
TS Optics colour filters offer an improved contrast when viewing the moon and the planets. Each filter works out specific details by permitting only specific parts of the visual spectrum. As a resul the contrast of these details is boosted for better visibility.
Quality Features of the TS Optics Colour Filters:

Each of the 8 different 1.25" colour filters has a different effect on the image. As a result different filters are used for viewing different details of a planet. By combining two filters you can get additional colour shades. For example, a blue filter and a yellow filter combined resemble a green filter with a different shade than the normal green filter.
