This focus photo adaptor differs from other models in the variety of adaptors and threads offered. With this adaptor, you are completely flexible, for example with an integrated Barlow or an eyepiece for eyepiece projection photography.
The scope of delivery includes a knurled stop ring that is screwed onto the rear M48 thread, leaving several M48 threads for other accessories. After removal, this ring allows the adaptor to be inserted into a 2" sleeve without stopping.
Practical examples of use:
- C8 telescope
- 2" focuser for SCT
- AC0104 multifunction photo adapter with 2-inch infrared blocking filters with front thread
- Barlow Baader VIP screwed onto the rear of the AC0104
- Pierro Astro ADC-MKIII: Screwed directly onto the rear of the AC0104 to achieve a distance of almost zero between the ADC and the Barlow lens
- T2 extension tubes (e.g. Ref. AC0057.lot, to have a wide range of possible adaptations)
- T2 adapter ring on C-mount Ref. AC0099
- For example, Altair GPCAM 2 or GPCAM3 camera with IMX290 colour sensor
This solution should allow you to obtain excellent planetary images with a C8 or other Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (this is only an example, however)...
