The Leofoto FH-5(L) is a professional fluid video tilt head designed for precise, controlled camera movements during video recording. It is suitable for demanding setups with DSLR, DSLM and compact cine cameras, and provides a stable base for smooth pans, clean tilt movements and reproducible shots.

The integrated fluid damping enables smooth movements along the horizontal and vertical axes. To adapt to different camera and lens combinations, the FH-5L features a three-stage friction adjustment for the pan and tilt axes, each with a zero position. This allows the movement resistance to be quickly and precisely adjusted to the specific shooting situation.

A major advantage is the 9-step weight balancing system for camera rigs weighing up to 7 kg. This makes the camera easier to control, particularly with heavier setups or longer lenses. The tilt range of +90° to −60° and the 360° panorama function offer plenty of freedom of movement for interviews, nature photography, product videos, reportages and professional film sequences.

The Arca-Swiss-compatible quick-release clamp with safety lock ensures a reliable camera mount. The package includes a 90 mm long quick release plate with 1/4" and 3/8" screws and an anti-rotation pin. This allows the camera to be mounted securely and balanced more effectively.

Thanks to the hemispherical base, the video tilt head can be quickly levelled on suitable video tripods. At the same time, it is also suitable for flexible use on photo tripods. The adjustable pan arm can be mounted on the left or right, whilst the integrated spirit level facilitates quick alignment on location.

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
