Basic set of microscope slides SSD-14 "Parasites"

6 professional preparations:

• Trypanosoma gambiense, pathogen of human sleeping sickness. Blood smear stained with Giemsa
• Plasmodium falciparum, pathogen of human malaria tropica. Blood smear with typical ring stages. Giemsa stain
• Taenia sagintana, tapeworm, proglottids in various stages of maturity, cross-section
• Ascaris lumbricoides, human roundworm, female, genital organs cross-section
• Trichina spiralis, trichina, larvae in muscle, section
• Fasciola hepatica, large liver fluke, body centre cross-section

The six specimens are protected in a plastic box for 25 specimens. Each specimen set is accompanied by a very nice instruction manual with professional drawings. There is also an explanation of the organs of the parasite and a brief explanation of the disease caused by the parasite.

This micro-preparation set is a student package for the SMD-14 multimedia teacher package.

The scope of delivery and price include one or two plastic containers for 25 specimens each. Additional storage boxes can be ordered separately.
