This large binocular with interchangeable eyepiece mount is comparable to a good ED apochromatic telescope with a 100 mm aperture in terms of colour and spherical correction.
Observations of planets and double stars with up to 150x magnification are possible without any problems. The focus position has been chosen so that Tele Vue Delos, Nagler, Panoptik and the Docter 12.5mm UWA eyepiece can be focused. A 1.25" helical focuser with brass clamping ring is used for this purpose.
The double-lens air-spaced ED apochromatic objectives are mounted in an absolutely play-free but rotatable eccentric mount. By turning a mount by hand, the adjustment can be optimised for your own eyes. To keep the 100 mm glass lightweight, the housing is made from cast magnesium. Extendable dew shields and a carrying handle with a sight for locating the object are further useful features.
In addition to the binoculars with carrying handle, the scope of delivery includes a photo tripod adapter, four dust caps and a set of 20 mm SWA wide-angle eyepieces.
