More about the series APM-Bino...
We see much more with two eyes!
With a 100 mm binocular, we can observe even extensive nebulae and galaxies. Larger star clusters are even resolved into individual stars. By using a binocular, faint celestial objects appear significantly brighter and more contrasted than with a conventional telescope of the same aperture. Observations with screw-in nebulae filters are particularly attractive for objects such as the Orion Nebula, Cirrus Nebula or the Dumbbell Nebula. You can also see a 3D effect, e.g. when observing the moon.
These spherically corrected, double-lens, air-spaced Semi-Apo binoculars offer extremely high contrast. A set of 18 mm eyepieces is included in the scope of delivery. The focus position has been selected so that Tele Vue Delos, Nagler, Panoptik and the Docter 12.5 mm UWA eyepiece can be focused.
Integrated features include sliding dew shields with front end caps, a carrying handle with sighting device, a photo tripod adapter with 3/8" thread connection and two eyepieces with 29x magnification.
Areas of application:
- Astronomy - the 45° viewing angle provides comfortable viewing (for medium altitudes; a tripod is required for zenith observations)
- Sighting and surveillance binoculars - also for distant objects (e.g. targets ...)
- Bird watching, animal watching, nature observation - also very comfortable viewing at medium height above the horizon
Scope of delivery:
- 100 mm Semi-Apo binoculars with carrying handle and photo tripod adaptors
- 4 dust caps
- Set of 18 mm UF 65 degree wide-angle eyepieces = 29x magnification
Solar observers need the dimensions for the appropriate solar filter: Dew shields, inner diameter 120 mm, outer diameter 124 mm
