DDoptics Steiger HDX 7x50 binoculars

These binoculars combine high-quality coating with the classic Porro prism design, which is specially designed for marine binoculars. The result is a light-intensive optical system with a focus on night-time use that is in no way inferior to 56 mm binoculars. During the day, the glass impresses with its brilliant image reproduction and sharpness right up to the edge, as well as a large field of view of 126 m. Spectacle wearers can use this field of view completely thanks to the 3-step retractable eyepiece cups.
High light transmission
The FMC HDX coating has been specially designed to take into account the light wave range between 400-500 nm – the blue light wave range that is particularly relevant to the human eye at night. The result is a pair of binoculars that can deliver excellent image brightness and resolution for a long time, even in increasing darkness.
Sophisticated optics and 7x magn ification
In combination with the sophisticated barium crown glass HDX optics, objects can still be seen in the dark even when other glasses in this category no longer provide satisfactory results. In moonlight or backlight, the Porro prism system prevents false light or stray light. The image sharpness is fascinating right to the edge of the field of view, and the contrast and colour fidelity of the image leave nothing to be desired.
Robust workmanship
The sturdy metal body can withstand drops from 1 m without damage and is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 8 m. The inner lenses are fog-proof. The Steiger HDX 7x50 is optionally available with an illuminated compass and reticle for estimating distances.
