A reflector telescope with a 203mm aperture and 3045mm focal length. Like the M 715, the M 815 is a completely new design from Intes - Micro. The long focal length and resulting f15 aperture ratio as well as its longer construction allow a very small secondary mirror with an effective obstruction of only 25%. This guarantees a brilliant, high-contrast image. A focal ratio of 1: 8.25 is achieved with the help of the supplied tele-compressor, which allows the instrument to be also used for deep sky astrophotography.
