The TigIR-Z is currently the lightest and smallest thermal imaging device with a 55mm lens. No other device can achieve a range of 3000m with such a short device length of only 111mm (standing man). Such small dimensions are only made possible by the development of a specially folded eyepiece lens. This enables the device to be used with different spotting scopes (3-7x) without a reduction in quality. As the casing is constructed entirely from high-tensile aluminium and the lens is athermal, the TigIR produces exceptional precision even in extreme termperature conditions. The surface of the casing is hard anodised with coated with a scratch-resistant ceramic coating. Despite the TigIR’s ability to withstand hard knocks in rough conditions, it is no heavier than 500g and, thus, lighter than every other comparable device.
