More about the series FluoroStar...
William Optics AP 110/770 telescope:
The telescope is equipped with a triplet apochromatic objective lens. A fluorite glass element is used to provide the highest possible colour correction right out to the edge of the field of view. The difference can be clearly seen, and not only with very critical objects but above all with photographic work using digital camera systems. The air gap lens elements are held rigidly in the lens cell and have very high quality 'STM' coatings for an even better contrast. The OTA interior is also equipped with 6 light baffles and is painted matt black, so that virtually no irritating reflections can occur.
With a 110mm aperture and 770mm focal length, this telescope can also be used, together with an image field corrector, as an excellent astronomical objective.

The advantages at a glance:
- triplet lens optics
- excellent colour correction
- high quality STM coatings
The DDG focuser is a robustly constructed focuser which is ideally suited for the extreme demands of astrophotography with heavy camera equipment. The built-in digital display provides reproducible settings with high accuracy, combined with sensitive 1/10 fine focusing.
Our expert comment:
The William Optics FLT series represents a real alternative to the commonly used apochromats from Pentax, Takahashi, Starfire, TMB, etc. Although these instruments are manufactured in the Far East the workmanship is of the highest quality, as is the choice of materials.
The FLT series excels above all in astrophotography, and together with excellent correction, image quality, colour reproduction and field flatness it is held in high regard in all respects.
