Vertigo means dizziness
When we think of this word, we remember the feeling we sometimes experience when we are at great heights. Originally, however, this word mainly referred to the rotation of celestial bodies. Galileo Galilei described clouds by saying, "one would see them moving very quickly, large and constant, caused by the daily vertigo of the Earth".
This ancient and noble meaning inspired Zoffoli to name this special standing globe with its contemporary design: the free rotation of the sphere actually expresses the "vertigo" described by the father of modern science.
The structure
An elegant solid walnut structure rises from a round stainless steel base, tracing soft and essential lines and supporting the globe without confining it.
The map
The map on this globe, carefully updated by Zoffoli's geographers, is a political map with natural colours.
Vertigo is not only a fascinating accessoire that makes your rooms appear particularly graceful and elegant, but also a great tool for travelling, whether in reality or in your imagination.
The globe is manufactured from very stable, high-quality paper fibre. This natural product is very lightweight, visually pleasing and helps to protect the environment!
