With this finder shoe, you can mount your finder bracket on a flat surface, such as the square mirror box of a Dobsonian or the flat surface of a tube clamp. It also fits optical tubes with a diameter of approx. 180 mm or more.
The two longitudinal holes make the finder shoe particularly flexible. This means it also fits all Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes with an aperture of 6" or more.
Which viewfinder mounts fit? The mount corresponds to the viewfinder mounts from Skywatcher, Vixen and Celestron. The Baader Quick Release System 4 also fits. The TS Optics RDA red dot finder also fits into the viewfinder shoe.
Your advantages at a glance:
- Viewfinder shoe with flexible contact surface – two bars – same stability as a flat surface
- Solid clamping of the finder with easy-grip longitudinal screw
- Two longitudinal holes for screws up to M4 - countersunk head Length of the longitudinal holes - 13 mm. The mounting screws on the tube can therefore be spaced between 20 mm and 35 mm
