Euromex BlueScope BL.1652 – binocular transmitted light microscope with S60x Semi-Plan (up to 600x)
The Euromex BlueScope BL.1652 is a robust binocular transmitted light microscope for education, universities and small laboratories. Its unique selling point is that it combines Köhler lighting, Dual-NeoLED™ (white + halogen colour), an integrated mechanical X-Y cross table (rackless) and a USB-C power supply (5V) with an S60x (spring-loaded) semi-plan objective for additional detail resolution without oil immersion.
The BlueScope series is designed for environments where microscopes are used frequently and shared by multiple people. Accordingly , durability, safety and a smooth workflow are paramount (including a rackless stage, accessory tray and focus assistance). The binocular concept of the BL.1652 is particularly suitable for course and laboratory use with longer observation times, as binocular work improves ergonomics in everyday use.
Highlights
Köhler lighting is integrated for uniform and reproducible lighting. A key practical highlight is the dual lighting: in addition to 3 W white NeoLED™ (6000-6500 K), a halogen-coloured light characteristic (3000-3200 K) is available to vary the contrast and image effect depending on the specimen.
For efficient everyday work, there are additional practical functions, including Quick FOCUS Aid, a smart storage compartment for accessories and a slot for polarisation filters.
The mechanical X-Y cross table (rackless, 140 × 135 mm, travel range 70 × 50 mm) supports the systematic screening of specimens. In addition, a colour-coded, height-adjustable Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25) with iris diaphragm and filter holder is integrated.
Additional security features such as a Kensington security slot are provided for use in shared rooms; Euromex also offers a 10-year warranty for the BlueScope series.
Model differences within the BlueScope series
The BL.1652 is the binocular BlueScope model, which supplements the standard semi-plan set (4x/10x/S40x) with an S60x objective and is thus designed for higher detail resolution up to 600x without oil immersion.
