PlaneWave Instruments introduces the Delta Rho 350, a groundbreaking telescope. This f/3 Cassegrain focus telescope has a 350 mm aperture and a focal length of only 1,050 mm for stunning results in astrophotography. With a corrected image circle of 60 mm and a sophisticated baffle system, the Delta Rho 350 takes you to the next level of astrophotography with large sensors without the limitations of prime focus instruments. The back focus of 80 mm after the focuser allows a variety of cameras, filter wheels, etc. to be attached to the rear of the telescope.
The primary mirror of the DeltaRho is fixed in place, as in the CDKs from PlaneWave Instruments. This makes adjustment extremely easy. In addition, the PlaneWave engineers have designed a new, ultra-short derotator and a focuser with tip/tilt adaptors that can be operated individually or together. This combines the advantage of a fixed primary mirror with very simple adjustment: only the three adjustment screws on the secondary mirror are required for collimation.
Fans on the rear and sides of the tube ensure rapid temperature equalisation and optimal image results.
