Sirius is the brightest star in the sky, and it is no coincidence that Zoffoli chose its name for this large globe. It is indeed an extremely elegant object that attracts everyone's attention with its refined structure and extremely detailed map. The structure
The turned beech wood columns form a small temple around the globe. The horizontal surfaces are made of highly prized Tanganyika walnut wood from Kenya. The globe itself is supported by a solid aluminium ring.
The imposing solid wood base gives this large globe maximum stability and perfect balance.
The map
Countries, capitals, cities, rivers, lakes and seas: Zoffoli's team of cartographers has updated the world map for this new globe. The colour scheme used for this globe is classic for political maps, with oceans in various shades of blue and the different countries in different colours.
The globe is manufactured from very stable, high-quality paper fibre. This natural product is very lightweight, visually pleasing and helps to protect the environment!
