The SMC Pentax 125SDP
Due to its relatively high weight resulting from its unusually solid construction, it has proven very helpful in practice to use the UP-500 universal mounting plate in addition to the original BH-140 tube clamps for the 125SDP.
This allows the tube to be fixed to the mounting plate at the height of the focuser. This permanently prevents displacement during long-term photography due to wind or similar undesirable influences. Of course, other hinged tube clamps with a clear diameter of 140 mm can also be used (e.g. Vixen with camera attachment).

Currently approx. 3 months after receipt of order, unless in stock. Incidentally, every telescope in the SDP series is handmade, so it is not a mass-produced product!
