The new Seestar S30
The smaller successor to the Seestar S50 Smart Telescope impresses with new features and powerful performance! The S30 is also a fully automatic GoTo telescope for nature and astrophotography with a built-in camera and control via smartphone or tablet using the proven Seestar app from ZWO.
New is the Sony IMX662 colour sensor with a 6.45 mm diagonal and high resolution thanks to the triplet lens design. The image field is larger than on the S50 and also features a wide-angle system with mosaic mode. This means that even large nebulae and galaxies (e.g. NGC 7000 or M31) now fit completely into the photo. Using mosaic mode, you can even select and move the area to be captured with the S30. With multiple shooting modes, voice prompts and seamless Smartphone control , the Seestar S30 transforms even beginners into astronomy professionals with ease.
The professional apochromatic triplet optics deliver razor-sharp images of the night sky with excellent control of chromatic aberration. The high-quality coating also helps to reduce light loss. Thanks to its high sensitivity and low noise, image noise is minimised even during extended deep sky exposures, ensuring excellent performance even on the darkest nights. In addition, the app's image processing offers automatic image noise reduction at the touch of a button, while preserving the details of the celestial object, so that even in areas with heavy light pollution, you can capture brilliant images! You can also customise the style of your image to suit your taste and share your impressive shots with others right away.
Using the built-in sensors and star charts in combination with your Smartphone's GPS sensor, the Seestar S30 automatically performs self-calibration and alignment. The Seestar is easy to use and easy to learn. You don't need to be an astronomy expert to achieve photographic results! With the autofocus system, focusing is no longer a problem. The S30's autofocus ensures that your images are always sharp and crisp, and even offers autofocus in landscape mode.

Finding your object is easy: select the object on your mobile phone in the app ("Tonight's Best") and the Seestar automatically aligns itself with the target and starts tracking. Turn your Smartphone or tablet into a telescope command centre! With just a few clicks, you can access the S30's star and deep sky object catalogue with more than 4000 listed objects and get detailed information about your chosen sky target. With its built-in sensors, star maps and innovative sky atlas, the instrument helps you plan your evening observations.
