The Seestar S30
The smaller successor to the Seestar S50 smart telescope impresses with new features and powerful performance! The S30 is also a fully automatic GoTo telescope for nature and astrophotography with a built-in camera and control via smartphone or tablet using the proven Seestar app from ZWO.
New is the Sony IMX662 colour sensor with a diagonal of 6.45 mm and high resolution thanks to the triplet lens design. The image field is larger than that of the S50 and also features a wide-angle system with mosaic mode. This means that even large nebulae and galaxies (e.g. NGC 7000 or M31) now fit completely into the photo. Using mosaic mode, you can even select and move the area to be captured with the S30. With multiple shooting modes, voice prompts and seamless smartphone control, the Seestar S30 easily transforms even beginners into astronomy pros.
The professional apochromatic triplet optics provide razor-sharp images of the night sky with excellent control of chromatic aberration. The high-quality coating also helps to reduce light loss. High sensitivity and low noise minimise image noise interference even during extended deep sky exposures, ensuring excellent performance even on the darkest nights. In addition, the app's image processing offers automatic image noise reduction at the touch of a button while preserving the details of the celestial object, resulting in brilliant images even in areas with heavy light pollution! You can also customise the style of your image to suit your taste and share your impressive shots with others instantly.
Using the built-in sensors and star charts in combination with your smartphone's GPS sensor, the Seestar S30 automatically performs self-calibration and alignment.
