This new design appears unlit in various shades of grey; when lit, the sea changes to a pleasant shade of blue. The map image contains an unrivalled wealth of up-to-date information. When unlit, you see the globe politically with ocean relief. When lit, the physical image becomes visible. The map image is laminated by hand in the traditional manner.
