The world's first CCL, Computer Controlled Levitation
As the world's first magnetic levitation globe, this model is equipped with intelligent computer control.
The magnetic head contains an electromagnet and a magnetic field sensor, while the microprocessor and control electronics are located in the base of the stand. The magnetic field sensor registers the magnetic field of the permanent magnet in the globe and can thus send data to the computer indicating how far the globe is from the magnetic head. The computer evaluates this data and controls the electromagnet accordingly to move the globe up or down with precision. Approximately 16,000 control processes per second ensure that the globe is always held in the correct position. In addition, the computer also registers any oscillatory movements of the globe and actively counteracts them to keep the globe floating safely and steadily. The computer also calculates the optimum levitation height based on the properties of the electromagnet, permanent magnet, weight of the globe, etc., and adjusts it automatically if the properties change over time.
The ideal gift for anyone who already has everything.
