Is it magic? Is it a cheap trick? Neither: electromagnets and a globally unique control electronics system keep the 20 cm model Earth suspended in mid-air. A magnetic field sensor and a microprocessor ensure that the globe always hovers at the optimum height, performing around 16,000 control operations per second. Fantastic design and detailed information about our world make the magnetic floating globe much more than just a high-tech gadget! We have three models on offer: silver metallic, political blue and antique.
