With an aperture of 70mm,the AC 70/400optical system gathers 100 times as much light as the naked eye and thus significantly more light than classic entry-level telescopes with a slightly smaller aperture of 60mm. It therefore also offers higher resolution and, with a maximum magnification of 140x, reveals the first details during observation of the large planets Saturn, Jupiter and Mars.
The Moon is also a very rewarding object: you can beautifully observe the Moon’s cratered landscape, which always appears in a different light depending on the phase.
The telescope produces an upright and non-inverted image, making it easier to find your bearings on the Moon, whilst also allowing for nature observation in daylight. Use this telescope to view the landscape just as you would with binoculars.
Focusing is achieved via an adjustment wheel on the focuser, which drives it via a rack and pinion. This allows the focus to be set precisely and remains reliably fixed during observation.
The azimuthal mount facilitates intuitive telescope movement and alignment with the desired celestial object.
The smartphone adapter with Bluetooth shutter release allows you to take touch-free photographs of the Moon without blurring the image.
