The AC 80/350telescope provides you with excellent views of the Moon and planets. It will also show you the brighter star clusters and nebulae. This refractor is a Fraunhofer-type achromat, which means that the objective lens consists of two elements - one made of crown glass and the other of flint glass. This combination reduces the unavoidable chromatic aberration of refractor telescopes. The two lens elements are separated by a narrow air gap and not glued together, as this would lead to significant deterioration of the optical properties over time.
This compact refractor telescope is ideal for travelling.
It is not only important which telescope you buy, but also where you buy it.

A telescope tube is referred to as an optic because it contains the components necessary to collect and concentrate light.
Describes the brightness of a star or point-shaped object, which can still just be distinguished by the telescope. The naked eye, for example, can make out stars with a magnitude of up to 6.
Eyepieces are needed for observing. Depending on the focal length, you achieve a certain level of magnification.
The specification 1.25" refers to the diameter of the connector (1.25" = 31.8 millimetres).
A telescope always displays an object upside down. This law of optics can only be compensated for by an erecting system. Erecting lenses, diagonal mirrors or Amici prisms provide you with an upright image. Diagonal mirrors provide an upright but back-to-front image and Amici prisms provide an upright and right-sided image.
