I got it as compact instrument to gaze and shoot from my terrase
Pros:
- Not that bad chromatic aberations (considering the crazy f/4.5). In daytime observations chroma not visible. For planets cast bright blue halo. Having in mind that it is f/4.5 and could be closed down to f/6+ with aperture ring and get some more decent results. https://flic.kr/p/2pqaRGw . I think it could be used for single narrowband photography as well: https://flic.kr/p/2pnEhQe
-Very good build quality and desing of the focuser
-All you need in the box for low peice
Cons:
-Prime lens is mounted with plastic hoder that is not good for such aperture and the telescope arrive out of colimation. Did a star test to check that. Stars had large comma even in the center of the field. I did not return it as the new one could be the same. To fix it I face it up, pull the dew shild, untiten the 6 screws holding the lenses. Tigthen the plastic rinng in front and then tighten ony a bit the screws on the back lens of the doublet. Then glue the plastic ring with a duck type as it will not hold soundly the lens trough the time.
-The dovetail was asseblend in the wrong direction
