ASA telescope systems are designed by Dipl. Phys. Philipp Keller. The tubes are constructed as a lattice structure with CFRP tubes, and the precision optics made of quartz glass come from LOMO. In combination with a reducer or field flattener (designed by Phillipp Keller), these instruments can also display stars as points even with large CCD sensors (with a diameter of up to 150 mm) right into the corners.
LOMO mirror optics: LOMO has established itself as a reliable manufacturer of precision optics. LOMO supplies optics for professional telescopes up to two metres in diameter. If you require perfect imaging properties and do not want to waste clear nights with inferior optics, you have come to the right place. To ensure that the optics continue to provide optimum correction during the cooling phase, ASA offers them in glass-ceramic AstroSitall as mirror carriers.
- System wavefront accuracy at least L/8 peak to valley at 632 nm in focus
- System wavefront accuracy at least L/35 RMS at 632 nm in focus
- Surface quality 80/50 scratch/dig
Optical performance that always pushes the seeing limit!
The scope of delivery includes the secondary mirror focus, the mirror cover with power pack, USB cable and software.
