Ultra-light carbon RC telescope with innovative features:
- Made almost entirely from carbon fibre parts (CFRP)
- Split tube facilitates transport and assembly Removable primary mirror cell; the telescope can remain on the mount during maintenance work.
- Primary mirror lateral bearing in "Whiffletree" system with 5 x 2 bearings Boundary layer fan on vibration-decoupled CFRP baffle ring
- Prism rail/accessory carrier with temperature-compensating mounting
- Two positions for main prism rail mounts (offset by 45° to each other)
- The main prism rail is split and has mounting positions for Losmandy and 10Micron clamps
- For combination with fabric stray light shield: optional front flaps (with ASCOM control) available
OAZ connection via M117 thread with 290 millimetres working distance from the rear plate.
Please note: Accessory carriers and front flaps are not included in the scope of delivery. The carrying case is charged separately.
