The AZ-EQ Avant mount: The precision-manufactured and easy-to-use AZ-EQ Avant mount offers excellent stability and precise control in azimuth and equatorial mode thanks to its two fine adjustments. A 122-tooth worm gear ensures sensitive adjustment in each axis.
Additional features:
- The mount can be operated in both parallactic and azimuth modes. When the mount is set up in parallactic mode, only one axis needs to be adjusted to keep the object in the eyepiece. The azimuth setup, on the other hand, is quick and easy.
- The two control knobs can be mounted on either side of the axes for convenient operation.
- The mount head is equipped with a 1/4" photo thread screw.
