The Tecnosky LUX60 is a small apochromatic refractor with a diameter of 60 mm, FPL53 glass and a focal length of 360 mm (f/6).
Visual use:
With a diagonal mirror and a 30 mm - 40 mm eyepiece (also zoom), it can be used for wide-field observations of star clusters and extensive nebulae. Even at magnifications of up to 150x, it is possible to discover numerous details on the Moon and planets!
If you use a 45° Amici prism instead of the classic 90° diagonal mirror, you have a telescope for daytime observation in outstanding quality!
Photography:
Thanks to the apochromatic 60 mm doublet and the fast f/6 aperture ratio, the LUX60 can be used for deep sky astrophotography – no flattener is required for small sensors, while a field flattener is recommended for larger 4/3" or APS-C sensors.
Guiding:
The exceptional optical quality of this refractor also improves autoguiding; in fact, a very precise guide star is always advisable to ensure high-quality tracking control. The robust helical focuser does not rotate during focusing and can be locked in place.
The removable, graduated extension allows focusing even with cameras with a short back focus!
