William Optics FLT FluoroStar telescope:
The telescope is equipped with a triplet apochromatic objective lens. A fluorite glass element is used to provide the highest possible colour correction, right out to the edge of the field of view. The difference can be clearly seen and not only with very critical objects but above all with photographic work using digital camera systems. The air gap lens elements are held rigidly in the lens cell and have very high quality 'STM' coatings for an even better contrast. The OTA interior is also well equipped with baffles and is painted matt black so that virtually no irritating reflections can occur.
This telescope can also be used together with an image field corrector as an excellent astronomical objective. 6 light baffles ensure excellent reflection suppression and so higher contrast.
This version of the optics comes with a 2" zenith mirror (DuraBright Dielectric).
