Product description

The ASKAR 50P is a 4-element apochromatic Petzval lens. SD glass is used in the objective to ensure good colour correction. The apo is corrected for cameras up to full frame.

With an aperture of 50 millimetres and a fast f/3.8 design without any special back focus requirements, this fast telescope enables mobile astrophotography without much effort.

With a transport length of 147 mm and a very low weight of only 1.4 kg, this Astrograph is very easy to transport and even fits in hand luggage. The quadruplet Petzval design of this telescope not only ensures sharpness and contrast across the entire flat 1-inch image circle, but also reduces the strict back focus requirements that can make setting up your imaging system more complicated than you might like.

With a focal length of 190 mm and an aperture of 50 mm, you can effortlessly capture stunning images of large deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula or the Andromeda Galaxy.
