The Tecnosky AG60 is a compact Astrograph that is the perfect choice for mobile astrophotography, offering high portability without compromising on optical quality.
The optical design is that of an apochromatic quadruplet: a doublet comprising FPL-55 and lanthanum glass, combined with an internal field-flattening doublet, which enables perfect correction right up to full-frame (44 mm). A fixed flange focal distance is not required; the focus can be easily adjusted between 41 and 61 mm, which significantly simplifies camera operation.
The tube, made entirely of aluminium, is compact and of high-quality construction: it measures just 270 mm in length (with the dew shield retracted) and weighs 3.1 kg including rails. Thanks to these features, it can be easily mounted on lightweight mounts such as the Star Adventurer GTi, the iOptron Sky Hunter, the SkyGuider Pro or classic Star Adventurers.
The 2.5-inch rack-and-pinion focuser with fine-pitch gearing features a field rotator and an integrated 4-point tilt mechanism for perfect sensor planarity. The long 250 mm Vixen rail is fitted with an Arca-Swiss plate and numerous 1/4" photography mounting holes, whilst the upper handle – which is also Arca-Swiss compatible – allows for the quick attachment of accessories or a guide scope.
The Tecnosky AG60 was developed exclusively for deep-sky photography: it cannot be focused using zenith mirrors or optical accessories. It is precisely this specialisation that makes it a dedicated astrograph, ideal for anyone wishing to achieve wide fields of view, pinpoint-sharp stars right to the edge, and high performance with cameras up to full-frame size.
