The ZenithStar is a very compact, fast apochromat, ideal for astrophotographers with high demands!
Ohara glass from Japan is used for the ED apochromat. The refractor's pair of lenses is separated by an air gap and mounted in a precise, CNC-machined lens mount. All glass surfaces are multi-coated with STM.
The CNC-machined aluminium tube is powder-coated. It is particularly short, and the dew shield can also be retracted. The tube comes with a standard connection for V/EQ mounts.
The focuser with fine drive is specially designed for heavy cameras. The newly developed, rotatable R&P focuser can be fixed in place to keep the focus stable – an aluminium cap to protect the knob is included in the scope of delivery.
