Product description

This very compact apochromat from Askar is a true astrograph with a fast f/4.5 focal ratio and integrated flattener/corrector. The objective lens, consisting of three lens elements with two ED glass elements, ensures maximum colour purity. The glass elements are not glued together, but separated by an air gap.

The high-quality corrector, consisting of three elements, is optimally matched. As it is permanently integrated into the tube, it forms a complete optical system with a flat image field, ideal for astrophotography!

The high light intensity of f/4.5 allows short exposure times even in difficult lighting conditions.

Stars are rendered crisply sharp right to the edge. With a working distance of 55 mm from the M48 thread, you can connect all common cameras directly via a bayonet adaptor.

The FMA180 Pro is equipped with a 360° rotator. The focuser is designed as an internal focus, which increases its stability and ensures its suitability as a sensitive, high-quality and compact astrograph.

The Apo is equipped with a Vixen-standard prism rail that fits all common astronomical mounts.

Another feature is the practical viewfinder shoe, which is unfortunately often missing on other apochromats of this size.
