The Askar 71F (‘Flat-Field’) is a compact quadruplet Astrograph with a 71mm aperture, a focal length of 490mm and a native focal ratio of f/6.9. The instrument features a four-element apochromatic lens with an air gap – including an ED element, which effectively reduces chromatic aberration. The Askar 71F supports 44 mm full-frame imaging with excellent reproduction of stars in the peripheral fields. A built-in flattener means you can do without any additional correctors.
