The optics Meade AP:
refracting telescopes with premium ED glass are renowned in astronomy for their excellent colour correction. The three-lens ED apochromats in Meade's 5000 series offer you the brilliant image sharpness and superior contrast of an ED apochromat at a fraction of the usual price. Even beginners will immediately notice the very high contrast and colour-free images.
Included in delivery with the telescope:
- fully-coated Meade AP 80/480 OTA with 80mm aperture and 480mm focal length
- completely retractable dew shield
- aluminium Crayford focuser
In addition, a 2" star diagonal is included in this package.
The mounting LXD75:
Light and transportable, but already equipped with a Go To control, the LXD75 is ideal for the advanced entrancy in astronomy. First astro-photographic steps can be performed and developed. The mounting is already equipped with another engine in both axes, which update astronomic objects and positions them up to 4,5° per second. Accuracy-gear in both axes allows a handling with a minimum of work with all 9 tempi. The Auto Star Handbox with Go To- funktion controls the LXD75 exactly and safe. The mounting is photographically resilient up to 8 kg and already equipped with PEC (Periodic Error Control).
