The new Tecnosky 130/900mm OWL EDT is an FMC-coated triplet refractor with an FPL-51 fluorite glass element. The tube is of high quality, made entirely of aluminium and finished in a beautiful matt black with silver anodised mechanical parts. The 3" rack and pinion focuser can be rotated 360° and can withstand high loads in both visual and photographic applications. It has a generous adjustment range of 95mm.
The 2" eyepiece adaptor and the 1.25" reduction sleeve are each equipped with brass clamps. The CNC-milled tube clamps have M6 holes on the sides for attaching additional plates or accessories, and a sturdy 33 cm long Losmandy rail is used to connect the mount. The tube clamps feature an Arca Swiss-compatible handle with numerous threaded holes for a guide scope.
Thanks to its f/6.9 aperture ratio, this apochromatic refractor is perfect for visual observation of the Moon, planets and double stars, where its high optical quality guarantees high-contrast and extremely sharp images. With a diameter of 130 mm, you can also expect to see deep sky objects with point-like stars and a dark background that highlights faint objects.
In photography, this refractor is very well suited for small format cameras such as the ZWO ASI 533 and ASI 294: From APS-C format upwards, we recommend one of the two Tecnosky flatteners (see accessories).
Equipment: tube clamps, Losmandy prism rail, accessory handle and viewfinder shoe.
