Colour-pure 3-lens apochromatic refractor for visual observation and, with our new optional Riccardi 0.75x reducer/flattener or the optional 2.5" flattener from TS, also for astrophotography – ideally equipped even for large chips.
The objective is a 3-lens air-spaced apo, using FPL-53 glass, fully multi-coated, of course.
In terms of quality, the optics are better than diffraction-limited. You can expect a good photo-visual, universally applicable Apo refractor. Venus can be seen without colour aberrations even at 300x magnification. The lens mount is fully adjustable using pull and push screws and can also be fully centred using side screws (customers should not attempt to centre the lens themselves!).
The focuser is a first-class, 360° rotatable 3" rack and pinion focuser with 1:10 fine adjustment. The rotation allows you to turn the photographic accessories into the required position.

The solid 3" rack and pinion focuser guarantees excellent illumination. Even large CCD cameras, such as the STL 11000, are fully illuminated with the optional reducers/flatteners. The tube clamps are flat on both sides with 5 x 1/4 inch threads (photo threads), the two outer threads are designed for Losmandy 62 mm hole spacing, the two inner threads for Astrophysics 60.2 mm hole spacing.
