The TS Optics AP 155/1240 is amongst the largest refracting telescopes on the market. An exceptional refracting telescope which can provide a lifetime’s worth of joy and will enhance any observatory!

• The apochromatic triplet lens with an FPL55 element and additional Lanthanium special glass displays pinsharp stars and bright planets without colour fringing.
• Multi-coating on every glass-to-air surface for maximum transmission, internal screens within the lens tube prevent scattered light
• The improved lens mount keeps its alignment perfectly featuring traction and pressure screws.
• Despite its large aperture, the apochromat is relatively lightweight and can be mounted on a Skywatcher EQ-6 or iOptron GEM45, for example.
• Every apochromat comess with a manufacturer’s test certificate. The apochromat is given a serial number. Furthermore, every apochromat is tested on the optical bench and optimally collimated.

3.7” rack and pinion focuser: The large focuser is optimised for photography and carries loads up to 8 kg - fully sufficient for heavy cameras with accessories! There are also multiple internal threads available for screw-on adaptations, in particular for the recommended flattener. The focuser also rotates by 360° in order to select the correct field of view.

Astrophotography: The apochromat can be paired with all suitable correctors. We recommend the ]: This corrector screws directly onto the focuser’s M92 thread. The corrector provides illumination and correction up to an image circle diameter of 60 mm. The focal length remains unaltered.
