In brief:
- Four-lens Petzval design with FCD-100 glass
- Lightweight and compact astrograph
- Supplied with Vixen/GP and Losmandy rail
- Suitable for full-frame sensors
Following the success of the Radian 61, OPT is now going one step further and launching the Radian 75, a four-lens apochromatic lens with Petzval design, equipped with FCD-100 glass and highly corrected optics. An image illumination of 44 mm also allows perfect astrophotography with full-frame cameras. The well-dimensioned back focus of 74 mm leaves enough room for additional accessories. The 75 mm lens opening and a fast f/5.4 aperture make the Radian 75 a real photo machine with short exposure times – ideal for nebulae and galaxies! The Kern of the optical design is the Petzval design consisting of 4 elements in 3 groups, using Hoya FCD-100 glass. The result is a colour-pure, corrected image field with a diameter of over 44 millimetres.
The compact and lightweight refractor is also a perfect companion for mobile use, whether travelling or on a short trip to a nearby observation site. It can be used wonderfully on common photo mounts, such as the iOptron SkyGuider or the Skywatcher Star Adventurer GTi. To be prepared for all connection options, OPT supplies the Radian 75 with Vixen/GP standard and Losmandy prism rail. A carrying handle is included, as well as a protective cap and a Vixen level viewfinder shoe. The stylish and simple design, completely in black, also gives the Radian 75 an elegant appearance. High-quality optics with an elegant finish!
