With this set you get a Fraunhofer Achromat 80mm f/6 together with a QUARK H-alpha filters for safe observation of the sun.
There are two variants of this telescope set, which differ in the QUARK filter:
- QUARK H-Alpha prominences has a half width of 0.8 to 0.6 Ångström. This variant is relatively translucent and therefore shows even the faintest prominences at the edge of the sun.
- QUARK H-Alpha Chromosphere with a half width of 0.5 to 0.3 Ångström shows the finest parts of the chromosphere on the solar disc and bright prominences.

The advantages of this set:
- You get an achromatic refractor that goes very well with the QUARK filter. Of course, you can also use the refractor without the filter for night sky observation. The telescope is a beautiful instrument for the observation and photography of large areas of the sky.
- The telescope has a high-quality Crayford-Hyprid focusers with fine adjustment.
- You can also use the QUARK filter on another refracting telescope, for example if you want to buy a larger telescope at a later date. You can also use the 80/480 refractor for mobile observation and also attach the h-alpha filter to a stationary refractor. It's as easy as changing the eyepiece!
- A diagonal mirrors and power supplies for the QUARK are already included in the scope of delivery. All you need are eyepieces. We also recommend a solar finder, which you can find under "Recommended accessories".
